This week on Long Gone:

Kicking off this week’s episode, the boys talk about Jose Abreu signing with the Houston Astros. It’s a match made in heaven for both parties. On the other side of the spectrum, the Pittsburgh Pirates did what they always do and signed bargain player Carlos Santana as their first big offseason move. This particular move leads to a deeper conversation about how pitiful the organization is and how does GM Ben Cherington guide this sinking ship? News broke earlier today that the Yankees gave their first offer of the offseason to Aaron Judge– 8-years, $300 Million. The boys give their thoughts on the offer and weigh the good and the bad. Rounding out headlines, they have to talk about a little-known (in the US) pitcher from Japan, Kodai Senga. Verlander, DeGrom and Rodon might be the biggest pitching names on the market, but Senga could very well be the best one. His ghost forkball is reason enough to get excited about the NPB phenom. At 30 years old, he’s looking to sign with his first major league team. Who could it be? Who would be the best fit? Afterward, the boys dive into their Free Agent Prediction Show by naming the top players at each position and predict who they will sign with. They round out the show with Collection Corner. This is a jam-packed show that you can’t miss!
