On this week’s episode, we begin by discussing the final playoff field, which includes the Yankees, Guardians, Astros, Orioles, Tigers, and Royals in the AL, and Dodgers, Phillies, Brewers, Padres, Mets, and Braves in the NL, the last of whom got in after splitting a double-header in the final games of the year. From there, we discuss Buster Posey being named President of Baseball Operations for the Giants, Chaim Bloom being named to the same role beginning in 2026 for the Cardinals, Skip Schumaker and David Bell vacating the Marlins and Reds managerial jobs, and Charlie Blackmon retiring from baseball.
