On this week’s episode, we begin by discussing Fernando Tatis’ grand-slam on a 3-0 count against late in a game against the Texas Rangers, and how baseball’s unwritten rules need to change to help promote young, exciting players like Tatis. From there, we discuss Reds’ commentator Thom Brennaman’s dismissal from the broadcast booth for uttering a homophonic slur on air, the Mets being hit with COVID-19 and the delay of the Subway Series, Trevor Bauer squaring off against Rob Manfred yet again, a trade between the Phillies and Red Sox, injuries to James Paxton, Alex Bregman, and Gleyber Torres, and the return of Harvey Day.
