Stacey, Mason, and Matt begin the episode with the breaking news of Pete Alonso signing with the Baltimore Orioles for five years $155 million. Mason, an Orioles fan, is happy his team landed a big name who has great character and should become a positive influence for the young hitters. Stacey brought up Alonso’s transition into the American League East as a possible hurdle. Next, Matt believes the Oklahoma City Thunder can win 76 games, which will break the previous mark of the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors. Stacey thinks they can at least tie the Warriors while Mason is a bit skeptical. Lastly, Stacey, Mason, and Matt share what team in the College Football Playoffs could make a huge splash then make first round predictions including a hilarious moment involving Tulane.
