S2E15 The Music City Miracle Rello and Cunda
On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about the release of the 2022-23 NBA schedule, Dario Saric playing some EuroBasket for Croatia, and what seems to be the end of the Kevin Durant trade rumors.
The NBA schedule was recently released, and the guys pick out some games early on in the season to keep an eye out for. They also discuss the NBA’s effort to cut back on travel miles and back-to-back games for the players, and it seems that the schedule fixed a lot of those issues this season.
Next, the guys discuss Dario Saric’s return to the court in EuroBasket. They’re both very excited to see Dario back out on the court – and talk about some of the discussions that Saric had with Coach Monty Williams over the offseason. The guys also touch on how Deandre Ayton was penciled in to play for the Bahamas team this summer – but ended up not being able to commit to the team.
To cap off the show, the guys discuss what seems to be the end of the Kevin Durant rumors. This was recorded shortly before the official news came from the Nets, that they’d be keeping KD this year, but the guys seemed to feel like the end was near anyways.
Thanks for tuning in, and Go Suns!
