S11E4: The Masters, and the NBA and NHL Season Finales Greg Crone
This week on the Sunny in Phoenix Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about what the Phoenix Suns did to get back on track, and win some games, despite missing their star player, Devin Booker, due to a hamstring injury.
Booker is who the team was built around, but how do they play without him? We can look back to last season where you could just write an ‘L’ in during these games, but a couple new additions plus Deandre Ayton carried the team to a couple wins last week.
Ayton was spectacular on the glass in all four games without Booker, and has started to look aggressive on offense. Jae Crowder has been knocking down threes at a high clip, many of them coming on assists from Chris Paul. Paul has done an excellent job leading the offense while scoring more points than usual to make up for the absence of Booker.
After that, the guys talk about the three games from last week, and the upcoming games this week against the Mavericks, Pelicans, and Pistons.
