Ep.246: Then & Now Series (P), D.J. Carrasco Interview Michael Dault
On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Mitch Krmpotich and Charlie Erling break down the Suns’ opening preseason game against the Utah Jazz. Sadly, the we’ll have to wait to see the Chris Paul Suns debut, but the guys break down what they saw from Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton in the first game.
After the Booker and Ayton talk, the focus turns to a few new guys on the roster and the position battles they are in. Langston Galloway had a great Suns debut, and Mitch and Charlie discuss where he may fall into the backup backcourt rotation alongside Cameron Payne, Jevon Carter, and E’Twaun Moore.
Jalen Smith is the next subject, and the guys talk about how he looked in his first NBA experience. Lofty expectations normally come with lottery picks, but the guys talk about the luxury the Suns have to not need to play him right away. Damian Jones and Abdel Nader are also discussed.
