This week on Sunny in PHX:

This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about the Suns league-leading nine game winning streak, break down last week’s games against the Blazers, Grizzlies, Rockets, and Timberwolves, and preview next week’s games against the Mavs x2, Nuggets, and Spurs.

Deandre Ayton finally returned to the lineup deep into this winning streak, but Frank Kaminsky and JaVale McGee did a great job holding down the fort in his absense. After gushing about Frank, the guys discuss a few things they have liked during the winning streak, like the backup bigs, Abdul Nader, and the timeless Chris Paul.

Then last week’s games against the Blazers, Grizzlies, Rockets, and Timberwolves are discussed. After the shaky wins the previous week, the Suns put together a few performances that easily outclassed their opponents, something that we haven’t seen much of from these Suns over the last two years.

Then the guys preview next week’s games. The Suns start off with two in a row against the Mavericks, who will likely be without Luka Doncic for the first game. Then the Suns match up with the Nuggets, looking for revenge after the rough opening-night loss.

Thanks for listening to the episode, and we’ll see you again next week. Go Suns!
