On this week’s episode of the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk about the Phoenix Suns fantastic 40-9 record, what they have done to get here, and the injuries they have been fighting along the way. Then, the guys recap last week’s games against the Jazz, Timberwolves, and Spurs – and then preview next week’s games against the Nets, Hawks, Wizards, and Bulls.
The Suns are currently on a 10 game win streak despite missing Deandre Ayton for the majority of the streak, along with Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne. Chris Paul has been elite as of late, and brought home the Western Conference Player of the Week. Booker has continued on his tear since pointing at the Raptor, and Cameron Johnson has been doing an excellent job filling Crowder’s spot in the starting lineup.
The Suns went 3-0 since our last episode, with another weird game against the Jazz, a hard-fought win over the Timberwolves, and yet another display of fourth quarter dominance over the Spurs, where Chris Paul put up 20 points and 19 assists.
The Suns have the Nets at home (with 9 active players) before heading out on a four game road trip. Lets hope to get some guys back into the lineup before heading out east. Thanks for tuning in, and go Suns!
