This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich discuss what they saw in the first three preseason games, preview the fourth, and end the show talking about what they expect to see out of the team early on in the regular season.
The guys start things off talking about the game against the Sacramento Kings, which proved tough for the Suns without Devin Booker or Chris Paul. The Suns faced the Lakers twice after that matchup, with Paul back in the lineup, and it made a huge difference. The Suns took care of the Lakers in both games, with production coming from every player on the roster.
The guys finish the show by talking about what to expect during the early stages of the regular season. The discussion starts with a talk about Landry Shamet, and how he will fit the roster this season. He looks to be an excellent backup option for Booker, and is a very capable player with the ball in his hands. JaVale McGee seems to be a perfect backup center for the team, and the guys discuss how there isn’t a giant drop in production or size anymore once Deandre Ayton hits the bench.
Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll see you again next week. Go Suns!
