This week on Sunny in PHX:

This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich finally return to break down the Phoenix Suns amazing Finals run, what it meant to the city of Phoenix, talk about some coaching and front office changes, and then look forward to pick #29 in the NBA Draft.

The guys are more than happy with the season the Phoenix Suns put together, and take some time to appreciate that alongside talking about the Suns vs Bucks series as a whole. They talk about the great team basketball we saw coming from both teams, all the great coaching chess matches, and how competitive the series was. Congrats to the Bucks!

After that, the guys talk about some changes in the coaching staff and front office. Willie Green has been hired as the head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Suns have replaced him with Bryan Gates. Jeff Bower has also left the front office, and we talk about what he did in his time in Phoenix.

The guys wrap things up by talking about the NBA Draft and the Suns 29th pick. Both Mitch and Charlie think the center and point guard positions should be what we target. A few names to watch out for: Day’Ron Sharpe, Joel Ayayi, Ayo Dosunmu, and Tre Mann.

Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll be back with another episode after the draft!
