This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich discuss Jae Crowder’s injury and his impact on the team, the long eastern road trip, and next week’s games.
Jae Crowder went down with an ankle injury in last week’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, and has missed two games since the injury. Crowder’s impact on the team has been very noticeable this season due to his great work on the defensive end, and the ability to knock down threes. What will the Suns do to make up for his absence?
Mitch’s hope for winning 2 or more games this road trip has come true, with the chance to pick up one more against the Knicks before heading home next week. The guys discuss the Suns’ impressive overtime win against the Bucks, as well as a great balanced performance from the starting five in a win against the 76ers. The Suns end up dropping two straight games for the first time since January against the Celtics and Nets, lets hope it doesn’t turn to three agains the Knicks.
To wrap up the show, the guys talk about next week’s matchups against the Knicks, Clippers, Jazz, and Thunder.
