On this week’s episode of the Atlantic Files, Collin Sexton and New York Knicks are the best fit, Danny Green’s comments on Philadelphia 76ers fans, which Atlantic team should trade for Dejounte Murray and Derrick White, plus a lot of rumors coming out of Team USA training!
At the time of the recording, we actually didn’t have the reports from the national media about the New York Knicks becoming the ‘most aggressive trade suitors’ for Collin Sexton. We talked about which team in the Atlantic would be the best fit for Sexton and naturally came upon the Knicks. It’s no secret that they need a point guard, but is Collin Sexton the best one to fill that role?
More guards were rumored to be available though, not just Collin Sexton. Both Dejounte Murray and Derrick White seem to be on the trade block in San Antonio. So, we also took a look at which teams in the Atlantic could go and grab either one of both of those guys without mortgaging too much of their futures.
Then, we finally got around to addressing Danny Green’s comments on a podcast about the Philadelphia 76ers fans. Philly fans in general are well known to be a little ‘rough around the edges.’ That’s being nice about it. Were Green’s comments warranted though, or did Sixers fans have a right to get mad?
To finish things off, the good old rumor mill hit Team USA as there are many all-star and above level players all sharing a court when they normally would be facing off against one another. Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal are quickly becoming even better friends and the rumors about a deal to send Beal to Boston were pretty much given. Then, there’s also been the Kevin Love to Brooklyn rumors and that forced the question, who should Brooklyn have, Blake Griffin or Kevin Love?
All of that and more on the latest episode!

Being from the suburbs of Philadelphia, it was hard not to become a Sixers fan during Allen Iverson's prime. Other than just the Sixers, I enjoy watching all forms and levels of basketball, especially the WNBA. Outside of basketball, I've been playing and coaching volleyball for most of my life. Also, after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, I became a Software Developer by day, while writing and hosting podcasts by night.
